Update

I interupt the Italy post to bring you breaking news. We are coming back!

Kevin, Max and I will be heading back to the U.S. oficially in September. As hard as we tried to relocate somewhere sunny, tropical and with beaches (and we tried HARD) it just wasn't in the cards this time. As much as we wanted to extend our time here in Ireland (for a few days we were mentally committed), ultimately that was not the best decision for us either. So we find ourselves moving back to the beautiful Seattle area.
As I think about our time here it both flew by and didn't. I mean it's been a year already and that is hard to believe. But then I look at everything we did, all the things we saw, all the visitors we had, all the places we went and it seems right that a year has passed.
This year has been such an adventure and learning experience for all of us. We will be really sad to go, but happy as well to be back closer to our friends and family...and the comforts home (cough cough, Target). Seriously, thanks to everyone who brought us things or sent us things we missed while we were here. Every season there were a few things that we just needed to make that time of year seem right and you all delivered!
Now it will be the opposite....we will be having our Irish friends send the things we have come to love from the Emerald Isle. It will be tricky to get that Irish beef across the Hotlantic ocean without it going bad....hmmm. And really tricky come spring with the lambs.
Well, with roughly one month left, on day 335 of my 365 (plus) dayer, it's time to really live it up. Live like we are leaving. Be gluttons for all things Irish. What am I doing here...I've got places to go, people to see, things to BUY!
